We boast a large production capacity, as well as efficient logistics. We operate an in-house railroad siding.
We offer limestone aggregates from the Sitkówa mine near Kielce and basalt aggregates from the Targowica mine, located in Lower Silesia. We also sell other types of aggregates, including recycled ones.
We supply our products mainly to the road and construction sectors, where they are widely used. Our educated and experienced specialists guarantee contractors the highest level of service based on mutual benefit. Care for the environment and local communities are among our priorities.

Historical background
1910
The history of our company began in 1910. It was then that we started industrial-scale limestone mining in Sitkówka.
1922 – 1930
In 1922, we put the first lime kiln into operation; before the end of the decade, we built two more Koern-type kilns, a mill for the production of ground lime, and then set up a lime stone milling plant.
1945 – 1956
In our history, the post-war years are both a period of nationalization and the reconstruction and integration of the entire lime industry in the region, which included the towns of Kielce, Sitkówka and Sobków.
1970 – 1977
The 1970s were a time of dynamic development for us. In 1970, we introduced shaft kilns of the 100C type at the "Kowala" Lime Plant. The production capacity of each of the six kilns is as much as 120 tons per day. In 1974-1975, we launched the "Trzuskawica" Lime Plant, which included: 12 units of 100C shaft kilns, three hydrated lime production lines, a very modern lime meal milling plant and a limestone processing department with a production capacity of about 4 min tons. In 1977, we decided to merge the "Kowala" and "Trzuskawica" Lime Plants. Thus, the "Trzuskawica" Lime Industry Plant was established.
1983 – 1988
In the 1980s, we built and commissioned two additional shaft kilns and a milling plant, achieving a maximum production volume of quicklime of nearly 1 min tons by 1988.
1997
9 years later, ZPW "Trzuskawica" transformed from a state-owned enterprise into a one-person company of the State Treasury ZPW "Trzuskawica" S.A.
2003
We can confidently call 2003 another milestone in the company's history. ZPW "Trzuskawica" S.A. was then privatized by the Irish group Cement Roadstone Holding (CRH), a global leader in the production of construction materials. In the same year, we also purchased the "Kujawy Wapno" lime plant.
2007
After four years, "Trzuskawica" and "Kujawy Wapno" merged into a single company to operate even more efficiently.
2010 – 2011
The beginning of the last decade was a time of intensive expansion of our company. At that time, we acquired the "Gniewków" granite mine, the "Targowica" basalt mine and the "Osielec" sandstone mine.
2013
In 2013, we changed our name from Zakłady Przemysłu Wapienniczego "Trzuskawica" to "Trzuskawica" S.A. We have been operating under this name ever since, continuing to develop our company and looking optimistically to the future.
2024
In June, the lime business was spun off from Trzuskawica S.A. to a separate legal entity, Ovetill Investments Sp. z o.o. On the other hand, in September, with the approval of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, Ovetill Investment was sold to Mavecotill Investments sp. z o.o., which belongs to the UK-based Sigma Roc Group. The transaction was part of CRH Group's European project to divest its lime assets.
Trzuskawica S.A. remained the owner of the Sitkówka-Nowiny and Targowica mines in Silesia and is now engaged in the mining and sale of aggregates.
